The project was a new single storey building for the Junior School including an activity space, eight classrooms, a music classroom, offices, storerooms, amenity and verandahs. Our role included coordination and connection of services to the new building. Works were not to impact the operation of the school or car park. Reinstatement of all areas affected by site services, extensions to the condition prior to the works commencing.
Plato Consulting was engaged as Superintendent of the AS 4000-1997 Contract, establishing a development program and achieving target milestones; coordinating and appointing design consultants; producing tender documentation; analysing and assessing tender bids of various consultants; reporting to the client with recommendations; undertaking regular site meetings and inspections; reviewing and approving progress claims and claims for extension of time(s) and/or notification of delays; issuing the necessary certificate(s) and notice(s); preparing client monthly financial/project report(s); negotiating contract variations and cost adjustment(s); and dealing with all technical queries. The project was completed in 2016.
