Facilitating a smooth tender process for your project.
Plato Consulting has the capability to manage all aspects of the tender process and to liaise with various types of contractors required for the project. Upon receiving key design and development documentation, the Plato team will compile an expression of interest (EOI) and invite contractors to confirm their interest in the project. Each EOI is carefully assessed with figures and details thoroughly checked. Tender documentation will then be distributed to the successful shortlisted parties. Following the closing date of a request for tender (RFT), Plato Consulting will evaluate conforming bids with clients and select a successful proponent. This is usually followed by a letter of intent for the winning contractor(s).
When successful contractor(s) have been notified, Plato Consulting will develop and execute a construction program (including a dispute resolution clause) for signing by both the contractor and client. During this stage, Plato Consulting acts as the Contract Administrator. This role includes navigating site instructions, dealing with requests for information, technical queries, notification of delays, extensions of time, progress claims, variations, and any non-conforming items, up to practical completion (PC) of the project. After PC the project will enter into a defect liability period (DLP) which is usually one year.
