In Stage 3C, the project was a new Trade Centre comprising a metalwork classroom, woodwork classroom, IT room, service and welding bays, food prep rooms, and two art rooms including two ‘corridors of creation’. Male and female changing rooms were added to the new gymnasium built in Stage 3B, incorporating shower and toilet cubicles. Our services included the coordination and connection of services to the new building. Works were not to impact the operation of the school or car park. Reinstatement of all areas affected by site services, extensions to the condition prior to the works commencing.

Plato Consulting was engaged as the Superintendent of the AS 4902-2000 D & C Contract, establishing a development program and achieving target milestones; coordinating and appointing design consultants; producing tender documentation; analysing and assessing tender bids of various consultants; reporting to the client with recommendations; undertaking regular site meetings and inspections; reviewing and approving progress claims and claims for extension of time(s) and/or notification of delays; issuing the necessary certificate(s) and notice(s); preparing client monthly financial/project report(s); negotiating contract variations and cost adjustment(s); and dealing with all technical queries. The project was completed in 2020.
