Role: Project Manager.

This project encompassed the construction and fit out of a new library and arts centre, with the centre including a proscenium stage and auditorium as well as separate drama, dance and music rooms. The library consisted of a general work room and support areas including a cafeteria, media and studio rooms, toilets and change facilities. Plato Consulting’s role included the coordination and connection of services to the new building. Works were not to impact the operation of the school or car park. Reinstatement of all areas affected by site services, extensions to the condition prior to the works commencing.

As Project Manager, Steve Haskayne was employed by the builder to oversee all subcontractors including awarding subcontracts, approving payments and attending site meetings with all relevant stakeholders. The project was completed in 2010.
